Lenovo Note K3 smartphone was up for grabs via flash sale on Flipkart today. The Black variant for the device was available from 12PM while the White version from 3PM

On account of Independence Day, the Lenovo K3 Note will go on an open sale on August 10. Earlier today, the company hosted it’s fifth flash sale for the device in which it sold 62,000 units. The company has sold more than two lakh devices since launch.
The Lenovo K3 Note sold 56,000 black color variant units during today’s flash sale. The White version will be available at 3PM. Users who have registered for the sale can purchase the device for Rs 9,999 from here.

The Lenovo K3 Note sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution, with a pixel density that goes up to 401 ppi.The device supports 4G and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of its own Vibe UI. The device measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 7.99mm and weighs 150gms.
Under the hood, it comes powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6572 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with specifications that are almost identical to the recently launched Meizu m1 note.

On the camera front, the K3 Note comes with a 13-megapixel rear snapper with dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The 16GB onboard storage is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The connectivity options include 4G (TD-LTE/ LTE), Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS and Bluetooth. A 3000mAh battery completes the package.

SHIMLA-  Struggling badly with traffic congest, Shimla City hopes to received some relief from parking trouble as the Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today inaugurated first phase of multi-storey parking near lift constructed under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. It would have capacity of parking as many as 700 cars initially.  Govt. said that the Rs. 60 crore project will help to reduce idle parking and further facilitate the visitors. The parking has been given on lease to M/s Shimla Tolls and Projects Private Limited for concession period of 30 years. The concession fee would be rupees one crore per annum with an increase of 10 percent every two years, to be paid to Municipal Corporation Shimla.
